PAIN What is it? Why is it a part of life? Why are you so familiar but yet so mysterious? What do you want? You come in different shapes, forms and sizes. Sometimes you are expected and other times you are unexpected. However, even in those different times, you are unwanted. What do you want from humanity? What do you want from me? What do you hope to achieve? Sometimes you are emotional, physical, mental, spiritual, governmental, economic, medical. The list goes on... You have no face, yet you have been seen, tasted, felt, touched. Why do we need you to grow and develop? What is your purpose? Your hugs are too tight! They are not hugs! They are daggers in my back, my body, my lungs, my mind. I can't breathe, I can't be with you. I have been through a lot with you. I have grown and changed and matured in some ways. In other ways...
