If you live a life trying to please everyone, you will end up unhappy!!!

 

                                                  

I'm sure we all know who Adele is..... She has such a beautiful and soulful voice. A voice that many of us wish we have but don't and try to get but it's highly impossible to.  Quite impossible!! Except ofcourse if God decided to give it to us by chance.  Remember when Adele came to the scene?  She was big and not the "ideal" body type as most would say and she was ridiculed for being too big and not properly caring for herself.  Remember in the past probably the 17th century or thereabout, being fat was an indication that you were rich because it meant you had money because you had enough food to eat.

Nowadays if you are fat, you are called lazy or ugly or some other word that is in the category of body shaming.  So here was Adelle with an amazing voice that could probably shake the heavens but people were so focused on the fact that she was a big girl. Why? Because people are generally unhappy!!! They always want someone that they can bring down and put to shame regardless of whether that person is in pain or otherwise. After all as the saying goes, "hurt people hurt people". Also insecurity people hurt people and it seems like majority of the people in the world (maybe not majority) are insecure. Though no one will ever fully admit.  

                                                               

Then time went by, Adelle didn't care, she got married and got divorced and then she lost weight.....a lot of weight!! she looked good! Although for a second the thought of her looking better when she wasn't so small crept into my head, either way, she looked good whether she was big or slim.  And then I noticed something else. She was shamed for loosing weight! She was blamed for betraying big girls everywhere and not maintaining her heavy body weight.  She was told that she looked prettier bigger.  I thought these people to be insane. First she is shamed for being big, then she is shamed for being slim.  People really are unhappy!  There is no pleasing anyone!  And if you try, you will die trying..  You need to live your life for yourself. And the only person you should care about pleasing, is God.  The truth of the matter is that there will always be haters.  It doesn't matter what you do in life. Whether you are a humanitarian or a celebrity.  There will always be someone or rather some people out there waiting to bring you down to their level, with the most powerful weapon on earth..........their words.
