The opportunity to die or a wasted life

Imagine if you were given five weeks to live, will you see it as an opportunity to die or a wasted life? Before you think I'm suicidal, hear me out.

If you were given 5 weeks to live, what would you do?

Would you see it as an opportunity to do right by you, your faith, and God? So that when you die, you know you will be knocking on heaven's door.

At this point, you get on your knees to confess every sin and wrong thing you may have done.  To clear the path to heaven and reach the place of everlasting peace and wonder.

A place of sanctuary and glory.   I call it an opportunity to die because you are giving a chance, as well as time to make things right.   An opportunity to right your wrong and be right with God.

An opportunity to ensure that your heaven is sure.  Instead of having the uncertainty that hell may very well be the price that you will pay for the life you lived.

However, if you see this as a waste of life, then the question is why? Why do you see it as a waste of life?

Is it because you feel you never lived or rather you never got the chance to achieve the goals you set out for yourself?

Is true living defined as living on the verge of  Yolo rather than a mundane life of the same old routine day after day?  Never taking risks or being spontaneous. Not even once! Perhaps that is how you were wired to be.

What is life then?  If it is lived on the verge of  Yolo but wasted spiritually?  That when we die, our souls are damned to hell for eternity!!

If you ask me, having five weeks left to live is seen as an opportunity to die rather than a wasted life.

Why?  Well, you see, my ducks will be put in a row and I will ensure that my spirituality is in order.

So that when death comes, the next face I see, is the face of Christ my creator. Instead of the face of the devil my adversary.

Perhaps 5 weeks was given because God knew if you lived any further, you wouldn't make it to Him.  Life is all about perception.  How we perceive things is very important.  It determines our mental state and capability to function...
